The Red Lion opened in1853. James and Linda have been running the pub for just a couple of months, but are settling into the area well. They have been in the industry for many years now and have run six pubs previously, so they know their stuff when it comes to pubs! They got into the business so that they could work for themselves and were particularly attracted to the Red Lion because of the “character and location”.
They would like to enlarge the rear beer garden and install a kids play area to make the pub more suitable for families in the village. With having just moved in they are spending all hours of the day getting the pub organised.
