Introduction

    Hello! This is my website about Melton Mowbray, where I live. My name is Laura, I am fifteen years old, and have lived in Melton for 6 years. Before I lived in Melton I lived in Syston which is about a 10 - 15 minute drive away.

On my website I am going to tell you about my school - King Edward the VII, my home, my pets and hobbies, Melton and what there is to do here.

King Edward  - my school - is about a 30 minute walk from my house. We have lots of different lessons and have two timetables to be able to fit them in.

I live on the opposite side of town. My house is right on the edge next to the countryside. I live with my Mum, Dad and brother Martin.

My family and I have lots of pets, including - two gerbils, a dog, 4 chickens, 3 ducks, a crab, a giant African land snail, and lots of tropical fish.

My hobbies include horse riding, playing the piano and double bass, and going to youth groups with my friends.

Melton is famous for pork pies and stilton cheese. It has a large market and a busy town centre, with lots of shops.
