Text Box: THE MELTON FARMERS' MARKET is a prime example of the description that "A Farmers' Market is one in which farmers, growers or producers from a defined local area are present in person to sell their own produce, direct to the public. All products sold should have been grown, reared, caught, brewed, pickled, baked, smoked or processed by the stallholder."
The Friday Farmers' Market was four years old on 25th April 2003 and many of the present Unit and Stall holders celebrated in customary fashion. A specially-designed carrier bag is being produced and this will add to the advertising of the Market by showing the Market details and the Market Tavern.
