Africa is home to many animals such as Elephants, Gorillas, Rhinos and Giraffes. Many of these animals have been hunted in the past and have become endangered species and there are now parks in which hunting is illegal and the animals are safe.

The climate in Africa is extremely hot and has little rain, this makes it hard for plants to grow and for some animals to live in  the conditions. With  little rain and extreme heat water is also scares, in the past people have had to walk for hundreds of miles to collect water.
