Text Box: Africa is one of the most popular places to go if you want to see lots of wildlife and it is the reason that lots of people visit Africa for. There are lots of animals in Africa which enable a lot of safaris to take place. You see many animals when on a safari such as elephants, lions, cheetahs, zebras, warthogs, rhinoceros, hippopotamus and giraffe. Four of the five fastest land animals live in Africa - the cheetah (70 mph), wildebeest, lion, and Thomson's gazelle (all about 50 mph).
Some facts about the animals
The tongue of a giraffe can be as long as 45cm.
Giraffe's are 6ft tall when they are born.
The world's biggest frog is found in Cameroon. Named the goliath frog, their body can be one-foot long
