People in this country need a lot of care to help them get through the terrifying days and nights of pain and not being able to do things they have waited their whole lives to do. To some people it seems like a waist of life when all that happens is its going to get taken away by life threatening diseases some still unknown to man.
Children are getting less and less of an education due to AIDS snatching the lives of their teachers. Even when there is another to replace one or to they only leave again. this disease affects everybody's lives even if the person themselves have not got it the people around them have and are still dieing in pain.
Children who have AIDS/HIV are mainly orphaned by their families. More children are fighting against the disease than adults. AIDS is passed down from generation to generation. everyday people have to take courses and courses of drugs none of which will help cure the disease only to help with the pain and suffering of it.

More on Aids in Africa
The huge gap in HIV infection rates and AIDS deaths between Africa and the rest of the world, is likely to grow even larger in the next century. Massive national and international are needed to end the stifling silence that continues to surround HIV in many countries, to explode myths and misconceptions that translate into dangerous sexual practices, to expand prevention initiatives such as condom promotion that can reduce sexual transmission, to create conditions in which young children have the knowledge and the emotional and financial support to grow up free of HIV, and to devote real money to providing care for those infected with HIV and support to their families.
