Art History Newspaper Project
The editor of a National Newspaper requires you, to write an illustrated article, featuring your opinions on a famous artist.
Produce a document on the computer, which looks like it is the front page of a National Daily Newspaper. This front page must contain;
1. A title
2. Two pictures
3. Text from other sources
4. Text which you have generated
Preparation
Before you go into your computer lesson you must decide, with the help of your teacher which Artist you are going to look at. It must be relevant to your area of study and the project that you will be involved with. After you have made this decision you must get some information.
5. Information from a book, about an artist including a picture of those artists works, to scan into your newspaper page. Bring the book with you to your lesson.
6. A page from a web site, which includes text, about, the same artist and a different picture, of that artist work to transfer into your newspaper page.
This page must be saved into your area before your computer lesson.
(If you know how to use the scanner then it would be helpful if you could scan the information from the book into your area before the lesson. If you are unsure about using the scanner then a Help sheet is available from the ILIAD. You must still bring the book to prove to your teacher where you got it from.)
