King Edward VII is a Sportsmark School, an award which recognises excellence in terms of physical education provision.

Participation is encouraged across a wide spectrum of physical activities and across all ability and age ranges.

The school has enjoyed a sustained period of examination success in all sports-related courses, and has excelled in extra-curricular competitions and fixtures.
