Work Experience opportunities for students at King Edward VII School have been available over a number of years.

However, it became apparent that with an ever-increasing cohort, it would be beneficial to have a structured Programme that could be constantly monitored and adapted to meet our students needs.

Following consultations with various bodies including the Leicestershire TEC and LEBP the school has a Work Experience Programme that:

Encourages students to identify their strengths and weaknesses to help them choose the right placement
Offers students the experience of the procedures and stages of applying for a job
Offers students the opportunity to develop their personal skills
Supports and informs staff, employers and students throughout the procedure
Enables the Work Experience Team to evaluate effectiveness and make adaptations as necessary.

This site contains all the materials used in the Programme.
